The Parol are available in PLASTIC, CLOTH or PAPER,  WITH ELECTRIC LIGHTS OR WITHOUT LIGHTS. YOU CAN CONTACT JUN ANYTIME AND DISCUSS THE SIZE AND COLOR OF YOUR PAROL.  ALSO YOU SHOULD SPECIFY THE TYPE OF LIGHTS (FLASHING OR NON FLASHING).

THESE LANTERNS ARE A TRADITIONAL SYMBOL
OF THE CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION IN THE PHILIPPINES. THESE LANTERNS WITH THEIR 5 POINTED STAR REPRESENT THE STAR OF BETHLEHEM THAT LED THE 3 WISE MEN TO THE MANGER THAT HELD THE BABY JESUS.

THESE LANTERNS WERE TRADITIONALLY MADE OF BAMBOO AND JAPANESE PAPER (LIGHTWEIGHT COLORFUL TISSUE TYPE PAPER).THE TRADITIONAL PAROL HAD AN OPENING TO ALLOW FOR THE INSERTION OF A CANDLE. THEY WERE USED TO LIGHT THE WAY FOR FILIPINOS WALKING TO LOCAL PARISH CHURCH FOR MISA DE GALLO (OR MASS OF THE ROOSTER) ALSO CALLED SIMBANG GABI OR (DAWN MASS) BECAUSE IT IS STILL DARK AT DAWN. THE MISA DE GALLO BEGINS ON DECEMBER 16TH AND LAST FOR 9 CONSECUTIVE MORNINGS
