                                        KAAMULAN: A coming together, a gathering. An annual festival held in Bukidnon, a province in Southern Philippine island
                                        of Mindanao, where various tribes come together to perform indIgenous dances to the beat of percussive instruments.
                                        This the name chosen PINIKPIKAN as the title of their new CD, to connote not just their being a percussion band and the
                                         "danceable"  music they play, but also the fusion of Filipino Ethnic  influences with that of the FUNK musical genre.
                                        Thus the "Flip Tribal Funk" byline.
